Real Time Machine Status

lets you view the status of all screw machines tied to the network (running, stopped or alarmed) from one location your PC screen. From the status screen, you can point, click and access specific information for each machine. View data such as Parts Count, Cycle Time, Job Time, Alarm Status, and Machine Efficiency from one machine or from a bank of machines running parts for a specific customer.
  • View plant efficiency for the shift, day, week, or month at a glance
  • Sort by a single machine or groups of machines for customer delivery updates
  • Quantify parts per hour, per day, per operator, in real time

Records Machine Events

LoganNetstores information in the form of events for each machine connected to the Network. Events such as Machine Starts, Stops, Stock Load, Tool Changes, Machine Maintenance, Set-up, Parts Count, and Quality are reported back by the controls to the PC with a time stamp. There are also 6 user definable codes for specific jobs or methods. Recall events from current or previous shift(s), and resolve any ongoing interruptions in productivity.
  • Records set-up, run time, logs machine status, machine hours and error messages
  • Review event by shift, week, month, or any custom date and time range
  • Identify recurring machine shutdowns and initiate corrective action

Uptime and Downtime Analysis

Machine events recorded on a particular machine or group of machines are collected and presented in pie chart form to provide a graphic snap shot of ongoing Machine and Plant efficiency. Data can be collected in seconds rather than hours and days, enabling users to identify areas for improvement, control costs and stay competitive. The LoganNet common csv Export format allows users to export LoganNet data to other programs such as Access and Excel. User-customized summaries such as machine utilization; parts per hour and overall machine efficiency can be quickly and easily accessed.

can be utilized across any brand of screw machine, eliminating the need for different controls for each type and style of machine in your plant.

Job Saver

Online help

Users will appreciate the simplicity of the LoganNet Software System, and can access simple instructions in the Help Topics Section on how to Get Started; Set Machine ID codes, Select Floor Views, Export Data and more. Customer Support through Logan and our Value-Added Suppliers enables LoganNet users access to customer service before, during and after software installation.

Reduce Set-Up Time: The LoganNet JobSaver feature stores common machine set-up parameters such as Job Count, Tool Changes, High-Low Shift points, Air Pick-off Collet Control, Air Blasts, Auxiliary Outputs, SPC inspection (after a certain number of cycles), and more. Set-up parameters can be saved and downloaded to other machines equipped with Logan Controls for future use.

User-Friendly Toolbar

LoganNet tool bar

iLoganNets a simple, easy-to-use software program that enables screw machine shops to network and access production data directly from their shop floor. Track machine uptime, downtime, machine status and efficiency right from your computer. LoganNet is ideal for collecting and verifying routine production data, planned and unplanned machine shut downs, and user-defined tool changes.
HOW IT WORKS

Using Logan microprocessor controls, LoganNet records machine run time, cycle time and parts count - plus captures data generated by machine events such as Starts, Stops and Alarms. LoganNet uses these signals to calculate machine and operator efficiency, and much more. Captured events can be viewed and analyzed on your PC or accessed across a LAN network using LoganNets remote viewer feature. Manual tabulation of basic machine and operator data is eliminated.
Point, Click, Information
Users take this information - and compare planned versus actual machine production and efficiency; and identify ways to reduce costs, increase efficiency and reduce set-up time all by utilizing the same personnel, machinery and floor space.

Quality Control for SPC
LoganNet simplifies the collecting and verifying of parts count for SPC and routine production data. For example, programmed stops can be entered after a certain number of cycles, or parts produced -

signaling operators to sort and inspect parts.

Share Data - Know what is happening right now
Share LoganNet information across your LAN and enable Tooling Engineers, Maintenance Managers and Foremen to do their job. Let your Network collect and sort the data so that your people can focus on other value-added projects. Export data to your favorite spreadsheet such as Excel, Access, and more.
